Description
This course introduces students to the terminology and key concepts of project management that will provide the foundation for the rest of the program.
Students examine project management from both a historical and business perspective.

Prerequisites
Successful completion of all term 1 and 2 courses.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Define key terminology used in Project management
- Describe the roles and responsibilities of project manager and project team members
- Explain and illustrate project lifecycles
- Describe the historical and contemporary context of project management
- Identify key aspects of a successful project
- Identify various industry recognized project management approaches that best meet the needs of the organization.
- Describe the Project Management work environment, including functional and project-based structures and governance
