Description
This course will provide an opportunity for students to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the program with the implementation of a complete capstone project. A fully developed project plan will be prepared prior to project activation. This project plan will be updated as the project is implemented and finally closed.
A complete and formal project presentation is expected at the end of this course that discusses the journey taken throughout this course, the lessons learned and the impact of each of the project knowledge areas.

Prerequisites
Successful completion of all Term 1, 2, 3 courses and MGMT 2006, MGMT 2028, MGMT 2029.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Apply strategies and processes in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing projects.
- Manage risks to reduce project uncertainties.
- Demonstrate project management skills to optimize the project outcomes.
- Adapt project management approaches to meet the specific needs of organizations.
- Apply strategies for managing stakeholders’ needs and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Construct comprehensive project plans that address the goals and objectives of organizations.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to make sound business management decisions and recommendations.
- Implement effective communication plans to ensure project success.
- Utilize change management strategies to support project implementation.
