Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Perform with improved musicianship
- Play with improved musical technique, including: increased tone control, flexibility, and dynamic range; increased range; improved intonation; increased technical capacity or facility
- Play with increased expressive capability, including: language, style, and feel
- Play assigned repertoire and etudes
- Improvise in simple jazz and other contemporary music idioms
