Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify and describe the music of the 19th and 20th centuries
- Identify and describe major musical genres and styles
- Identify selected repertoire by major composers
- Describe the social and cultural contexts of Romantic, Modern and Post-modern music
- Develop introductory skills in musicology
