Description
This course provides the students with knowledge and skills to contribute to strategic planning and scheduling of material requirements. Students will learn how to coordinate inventory needs, and the efficient handling of goods, services, materials, and related information within and between supply chains.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Determine the value-added and benefits of supply chain management and strategy implementations on overall business
- Ensure compliance of supply chain processes with relevant legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, and industry and organization standards and policies.
- Define and explain inventory management and control techniques
- Explain global Supply Chain Management & International Trade concepts
- Recognize the role of transportation in supply chain management
- Describe inventory and distribution methods and processes
- Understand Incoterms®, the world's essential terms of trade for the sale of goods
