Description

This course increases the students' knowledge of negotiation principles and related skills. Students will acquire negotiation skills that can be utilized to facilitate project success, while at the same time lessening the probability of project failure. Students will discover how contract negotiation skills will benefit them in their interactions with vendors, team members and peers. Approaching negotiation in a systematic manner, students will use the four forces of negotiation: power, information, timing and approach, and learn to apply these skills to contractual and legal matters.
