Description

This course introduces students to the pharmacy profession and the role of pharmacy in providing health care services. The course also provides an overview of the Canadian health care system, including the roles and responsibilities of health care professionals. The standards of practice, federal and provincial legislation governing pharmacy practice, and workplace safety issues are also discussed. The course also includes medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. This course is part of the full-time Pharmacy Technician Program.
