Description

This course introduces students to hospital pharmacy practice and the pharmacy technicians role in providing pharmacy services. Topics include policies and procedures, drug distribution systems, record keeping, compounding, purchasing and receiving. The lab component of the course focuses on dispensing and compounding skills. This course is part of the full-time Pharmacy Technician Program.
