Description

Train to become a Tea Sommelier! In collaboration with the Tea Association of Canada, Vancouver Community College provides training for students to become a knowledgeable tea professional well versed in all aspects of tea as it relates to the consumer. Learn tea procurement and storage, developing tea lists/menus, delivery of tea service, and training of staff. Tea Sommeliers prepare and suggest tea menus/lists to best complement food items while also working on the floor with customers. Ethical duties include working within the taste preference and budget parameters of customers. After completing this intensive course students are prepared for the Tea Sommelier Certification Exam. This Intensive program covers all materials covered in the part time courses. This intensive course length is approx 120 hours.
