Computer Skills for Professional Use

Maximize your productivity! Develop your skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management in one of our Saturday workshops, learn to navigate business accounting software or take one of our new information design courses (CMPT 1244, CMPT 1245, CMPT 1246) for an instant improvement in your everyday professional communication.

Participants will receive a Document of Completion upon successful completion of courses and workshops.

New to PCs? The Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³) preparation program is the world's first validated, standards-based training and certification program for basic computing and internet knowledge and skills. Successful completion of IC³ ensures you have the knowledge and skills required for basic use of computer hardware, software, networks, and the Internet. IC³ is your gateway to advancement in education, employment, or other certification programs. Upon completion of all 3 courses (CMPT 1301, CMPT 1302 & CMPT 1303), students have the option to write the Industry Exam. Please visit the Certiport IC³ website for more information.
