Jazz Improvisation I (MUSC 1217)

This course is the first of a sequence that introduces key concepts of Jazz Improvisation.  Topics include all scales, modes and arpeggios, chord-scale theory, simple blues and 32-bar form chord changes.  Repertoire will be drawn from jazz, jazz-fusion and Latin standards.
