Fees & Payments

VCC is currently only accepting online and mailed cheque payments, as face-to-face registration services are temporarily suspended.

 

Payment Methods

International students may make tuition deposit and other fee payments with different payment methods.

 

Payments from Outside of Canada

  • Flywire – for deposit and tuition payments from outside of Canada

You can make an international payment by bank transfer, credit card, and/or other local payment methods (depending on your country) through our Flywire international payment portal.

Payments from Within Canada

  • Canadian Credit Card – submit the payment form
  • Online banking from a Canadian bank
    • Payee: Vancouver Community College
    • Account Number: VCC Student ID Number
  • Bank draft, money order, or certified personal cheque - submit to VCC's Campuses

 

In-Person Payments at VCC's Campuses

 

Payments for Application Fees

Application fees are accepted through Flywire or credit cards. To pay application fees with credit cards, see the VCC International Education Application Form.

  

Payment Receipts

Students may request receipts upon successful payments.

 

Tuition Deposit Payment

  • Flywire*: Students can download the official receipt from Flywire to use for Study Permit application.
  • In-Person Payments (Credit Card, cash and debit card): Students will be issued official VCC receipts from the Student Accounts Office directly at time of payment.
  • Other Payment Methods: Receipts for payments made by online payments and wire transfers are emailed directly to students from ieadmissions@vcc.ca as soon as they are available. Receipts are generally available approximately 1 week after the payment is received by VCC.

*Students are encouraged to pay via Flywire when possible as this is the fastest way to obtain a payment receipt for immigration purposes.

 

Other Payment

  • Students may request official VCC receipts by emailing sao@vcc.ca.

 

Types of fees

Application fees (non-refundable and non-transferrable): 

  • First program: $145
  • Subsequent program: $70

Application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Students applying to a different program must pay the application fee again. 

 

Assessment fees (non-refundable), if applicable:

  • English assessment: $80
  • Math assessment $40
  • Keyboarding assessment: $40

 

Tuition

 

Tuition Deposits

  • Program fees and tuition deposit amounts vary by Program.
  • Tuition deposits are payable to accept an offer of admission and secure a seat in a program, and must be received on or before the payment deadline indicated on the Letter of Offer.
  • The deposit amount will be deducted from the first term tuition fees.
  • Tuition deposits include a non-refundable fee. The non-refundable fee is non-transferrable, and is either $5,000 or $6,500, depending on the programs. Students applying to a different program will be subject to the non-refundable fee of the initially admitted program.

 

Student Fees

Student fees are charged by the college for services provided to students, including but not limited to:

  • Students' Union Fees, BC Federation of Students Fees, College Initiative Fees, Materials Fee, Health and Dental Fees, UPass Fee, and Campus Resource Fee

As international cohorts are exclusively for international students, international fees apply throughout the duration of the program. International Cohort programs include:

 

Fee Increases

Tuition and other fees are approximate and subject to change due to yearly increases without notice. Students will be required to pay increased rates if the fees change at any time during the period of enrolment in the program.

Students making advance payments for programs/courses or installment payments for current programs will be required to pay increased rates if the fees change at any time during the period of enrolment in the program. Application fees and assessment fees are non-refundable. 

 

Payments from outside of Canada with Flywire 

VCC has partnered with Flywire to offer overseas international students different payment options.

Flywire allows you to save on bank fees and exchange rates and choose local payment options including bank transfers, credit cards, e-wallets and more for most countries and territories. You also have access to multilingual customer support and can execute, track and confirm your payment online.  

To make an international payment for your tuition:

  1. Go to vancouvercommunitycollege.flywire.com - deposits and tuition payments only
  2. Select your country of origin and preferred payment method
  3. Enter your payment details and receive instructions on how to complete your payment
  4. Track the progress of your payment anytime online. Receive email and text alerts each step of the way including when your payment reaches VCC
