VCC's Outstanding Alumni Awards are designed to celebrate the career and community achievements of our graduates and supporters. These annual awards provide an opportunity to honour the quality and expertise of VCC's alumni and friends.

Nominations for the 2024 Outstanding Alumni Awards are now closed. However, nominations a will be reviewed and considered for the 2025 awards. Nominations are kept on file and brought forward for consideration for three years following the original submission date, with the option to withdraw at any time.

Ashley is a graduate of the Access to Practical Nursing program. She has taken the skills she has learned back to Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band at the Skwlax Wellness Centre and continues to create a community where people feel comfortable getting the care that they need.

Beginning her education journey as a new immigrant at VCC, Anja enrolled in the Electronics Technician Program which set in motion her path to becoming a professional engineer. Today Anja uses her platform and influence to advocate for gender equality by supporting fellow women in the engineering profession.

An international student from the Philippines, Vicente is a talented freelance Graphic Designer and Videographer. As a member of the deaf community, he gives back by contributing his time and talents by co-founding the Deaf Photography Club, inspiring people to contribute and connect no matter the barriers.
