Five ways to partner with VCC: Real-world training that makes a difference

People meeting to collaborate on a project

Vancouver Community College (VCC) welcomes businesses, industry associations, non-profits, and community organizations to discover the power of partnership. Whether you’re looking to tap into a skilled talent pipeline, contribute to community impact, or co-design future-forward training, partnering with VCC means investing in real-world education with measurable outcomes.

VCC’s partnerships enrich student learning, strengthen B.C.’s workforce, and create opportunities for innovation, inclusion, and local impact. Here are five meaningful ways to get involved:

1. Co-create training that meets your workforce needs

VCC works with businesses, communities, and industry groups to develop custom training solutions tailored to your sector, location, or cultural context. Whether you're looking to upskill staff in administrative tools, digital tools, technical writing, or co-design niche credentials, our team ensures training is relevant, flexible, and impactful.

3. Offer Work-Integrated Learning (WIL)

These collaborations ensure students gain essential experience while completing their education, and you gain motivated learners with relevant skills.

4. Invest in the future of education and make an impact on your community

Making a corporate or philanthropic investment can help transform our campuses, empower students, and strengthen the communities we serve. Strategic capital projects underway at our Broadway campus include: the Centre for Clean Energy and Automotive Innovation, a new purpose-built learning hub; the expansion of our Health Simulation Centre, to enhance hands-on learning in healthcare; and at our Downtown campus major upgrades to commercial kitchens, to support culinary and hospitality training. These new and revitalized spaces will foster collaboration, support program growth, and ensure students are equipped with the skills they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving workforce.

Beyond infrastructure, VCC is leading the way in training to support B.C.'s clean-tech economy through pioneering programs in zero-emissions vehicles and hydrogen fuel-cell technology. At the same time, the VCC Foundation continues to eliminate barriers to education by funding technology enhancements, psychoeducational assessments, food security initiatives, and student awards. Every contribution—whether toward facilities, equipment, or student support—makes a meaningful impact on learners and the communities they go on to serve.
