Material Handling 4.0 Info session

Material Handling 4.0 (MH 4.0) is a comprehensive, free, nine-week training program that provides employability and vocational skills training to prepare participants for a variety of entry-level warehousing roles. Training includes:

  • Forklift operations
  • MSSC certified logistics associate and technician training
  • 21st century skills
    • Communication
    • Teamwork
    • Problem solving
    • Information literacy and foundation
    • Skills for lifelong learning

The program also includes two weeks of paid employment with a local warehousing/logistics facility and offers wage subsidy to host employers to offset on-the job training.

Funding for this program is provided by the Government of Canada through MOHAWK College under the Canada Future Skills Program. Financial supports include steel toed boots, safety glasses, transportation, and childcare support.
