Communications 2 (OPTA 1217)
This course builds on the communication skills developed in Communications 1. Strategies for enhancing therapeutic relationships and the skills required for working with family members are explored and practised. The management of difficult situations with clients is examined and practised. Students also study leadership and advocacy skills relevant to the field of rehabilitation. Prerequisite: OPTA 1117 Communications 1
