Students work on keyboarding speed and accuracy. They also learn to transcribe complex documents including performing mailmerge, formatting reports and other documents used in business environments, achieving a speed of 50 words per minute by the end of the course. Students are tested for accuracy as well as speed and are graded on both. A Dictaphone or large print copy is used for drill practice.
