Learn how to program in Python, a powerful, fast, friendly, and open-source programming language. This basic programming course is ideal for those who want to learn how to program or those who are already a programmer in another language and want to learn Python. Specific topics include data types, functions, strings & lists, dictionaries and regular expressions. Students should be comfortable with basic mathematics. At the end of each class, a homework exercise may be assigned by the instructor.

(18 hours) Please note that the textbook required for this course is free to read online.
