Hassti Hamidi Conscious Movement Practice - A Journey of Authentic Movement and Inner Exploration
Dance instructor

Conscious Movement is a unique style of dance that’s all about free expression and letting your body move to the beat of your own drum. Unlike traditional dance classes, there’s no choreography to follow or steps to learn. Instead, it’s all about letting go and allowing the music to guide you, enabling authentic movement exploration. Conscious Movement has been demonstrated to help with stress and anxiety reduction, promoting alignment of mind, body, soul, and spirit. During a Conscious Movement practice session, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for movement and self-exploration. Everyone, regardless of their dance experience, is welcome to participate and enjoy the fun.

Hassti Hamidi is a passionate dancer, music curator, nature lover, home cook, plant parent, city farmer, daughter, wife, sister, friend, and student of life. She likes to move people not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually. She fearlessly explores unconventional tunes and rhythms, guiding dancers on a journey of self-discovery and liberation. She believes in the transformative power of movement and curates her music selection that transcends boundaries, inviting participants to explore the depths of their being and practice authentic movement. Hassti is also the producer and resident DJ of Ride the Rhythm, a regular Conscious Movement practice in Vancouver. To get a taste of the music that awaits you, listen to Hassti free waves on the Soundcloud.
