Partnership Development Office
Work with Us

Partnership is foundational to our work in the Partnership Development Office (PDO). We believe that through collaboration, we can strengthen pathways to the labour market and improve access to post-secondary education and training in B.C.
As a project partner, we take a shared ownership and engagement approach, working with our partners and funders to co-create innovative projects that meet common goals. At the start, we seek to understand the needs of the labour market and community. From there, we work together to design customized projects that keep the learners as the key focus.
Many of our projects focus on building pathways to the labour market, community, and further post-secondary education for under-represented student groups. We prioritize projects that strongly align with VCC’s values and goals.
Over the last five years, we have led and contributed to partnerships, both as the primary delivery partner as well as a co-collaborator for other delivery partners. Each project is designed to meet the unique needs of the learners and budget requirements. To ensure learner success, our projects include highly engaged instructors, small classrooms, student coaching, and wraparound support.
We are familiar with using a range of funding sources through both governmental and industry funders. We have partnered on multiple government-funded projects including Community Workforce Response Grant and Project-Based Labour Market Training projects.
VCC is an established and trustworthy public post-secondary institution with a track record of success and reliability. You can depend on the PDO team for high levels of commitment, responsive communication, and mutual trust. All our programs are taught by certified instructors who are experienced in delivering high-quality education.
