Do program requirements also apply to individual courses?

The admissions requirements for Open Studies are:

A VCC application
Evidence of English language proficiency.
Evidence of meeting course prerequisites. This means that if you take a course that has prerequisites, you must meet that requirement.

Is there a limit as to the number of courses you can take?

You can take 18 credits per term and a lifetime total of 30 credits.

Will my future program tuition costs be reduced by taking Open Studies courses now?

If an Open Studies course is offered in a program you plan to attend in the future, you may be eligible to apply the credits to your program without retaking the course.

Will the types of courses available change from year to year?

Courses will be added over time. However, seats are available only when a course has available spots.
