Call for Nominations: Join the VCC Foundation Board of Directors
The Vancouver Community College (VCC) Foundation is seeking nominations for people passionate about education, community impact, and strategic leadership to join its Board of Directors. They particularly seek candidates with professional experience in:
- Financial Management
- Investment planning
- Governance and board operations
- Fundraising
VCC Foundation Board Directors play a vital role in guiding the Foundation’s mission to support student success and advance the College’s priorities through philanthropy and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight and governance
- Support fundraising and donor stewardship initiatives
- Promote VCC’s mission, values, and vision in the community
- Attend regular board and committee meetings as required
This is a volunteer leadership position with a term of up to three years, renewable. Previous board and/or fundraising experience is an asset.
