Good luck to VCC's 2026 Skills BC competitors

An automotive student at Skills BC

Several VCC students will be up against contenders from other schools across the province in the 32nd annual Skills Canada BC trades competition on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at the Tradex centre in Abbotsford.

The provincial competition will host about 500 secondary and post-secondary students who will showcase their expertise across various disciplines, including baking, culinary arts, graphic design, automotive repair and collision, and hairstyling.

Attendees will have a chance to watch the competitions unfold and take part in interactive, hands-on activities located in the exhibition hall.

Gold medallists at the provincial skills competition will move on to the next level and represent Team BC at the 2026 Skills Canada National Competition held in Toronto this year on May 28 and 29.

Join us in wishing good luck to all our VCC competitors!
