The Media Enhanced Learning course enables participants to create, select, use and justify media, technology and tools for their various teaching and learning environments. The course emphasizes the application of media related concepts, copyright laws, media approaches and learning theories in the creation and selection of instructional media. Participants will investigate the current trends and issues, and will work with a wide range of instructional media tools.

Prior learning assessment and recognition (PLAR)
1. Actual curriculum products / portfolio created and used by the applicant in their workplace which are judged equivalent to the curriculum documents required in the PIDP 3240 course assignments.
2. A successful interview with the SIE Department Head or one of the full-time SIE faculty.
3. An essay in which the applicant describes the development of their thinking related to the themes, issues, and concepts of the 3240 course.
