Giving Tuesday

Help Us Help Our Students

Food security is a growing concern in the region, with an increasing number of people turning to food banks for support. Students are often among those who struggle to stay nourished.

The Need is Real

A recent survey of VCC students showed that:

  • 40% of students regularly face food insecurity
  • 36% support their families financially
  • 18% have relied on a food bank in the last six months

Supporting food security for VCC students has a far-reaching effect, giving students an easier path toward improved mental health, physical well-being, and academic success This Giving Tuesday, you can make a direct impact by supporting VCC's food security programs and helping students stay focused on their educational goals.

Your Gift Will Make a Direct Impact

Funds raised will help:

  • Expand VCC’s food pantry program
  • Sustain and grow food voucher programs
