Laboratory Fundamentals (MLAB 1112)
This course provides an overview of human anatomy and physiology relevant to the practice of a Medical
Laboratory Assistant. Medical terminology, abbreviations, pathophysiology and lab tests relevant to each
system are discussed. Other topics include, basic laboratory procedures including the use of common
laboratory equipment and reagent preparation.
This course is part of the full time Medical Laboratory Assistant program.
