A Confirmation of Enrolment Letter (also referred to as a Proof of Enrolment or Verification of Enrolment) is an official document showing that you are currently registered at VCC. The Confirmation of Enrolment letter may be requested for employment, financial, or official purposes.

A standard Confirmation of Enrolment letter is an official document that generally provides the following information:

  • Your name and current address associated with your VCC student account.
  • Your program of study.
  • Your current academic status (full-time or part-time).
  • The start and anticipated end date of your current program of study.
  • Program duration (associated with the credential type) and total number of credits required for successful completion of the program.

International students require more specialized confirmation of enrolment letters for immigration purposes (i.e.: study permit extensions, TRV extensions, etc.).  Please visit the International Education website to download the request form: www.vcc.ca/international/current-students/resources/forms

Note: Confirmation of Enrolment letters are not substitutes for official transcripts. Enrolment verifications do not include grades, credentials awarded, term and cumulative grade point averages, etc.

Here are some other ways to verify enrolment:
