Professional Practice 2 (DENT 2330)
Designed as a bridge to professional practice, this course prepares Dental Technology students for successful practicum placements and future employment. Students will refine their professional identity by creating targeted resumes and cover letters and compiling materials for a portfolio that showcase their technical attainment. Through simulated role-play, learners rehearse interviewing skills and interpersonal techniques essential for clinical and laboratory environments. The curriculum further integrates critical thinking, stress management, and peer-evaluation strategies, and provides a brief overview of sustainable business practices to ensure long-term professional resilience.
