Graduates of the following trades programs may start and continue their careers as tradespersons once registered with SkilledTradesBC.
Fully online programs are not eligible for study permit support or PGWP (Post-Graduation Work Permit).
Part-time and short-term studies are not eligible for study permit support or PGWP (Post-Graduation Work Permit).
VCC is currently exploring opportunities for eligible work permit holders to access apprenticeship training under recent temporary IRCC policy. At this time, seat availability and participation requirements for individual apprenticeship courses have not yet been confirmed.
If you hold a valid work permit and are interested in apprenticeship training at VCC, please contact International Education at study@vcc.ca and let us know which apprenticeship course you are interested in. We will review your inquiry and provide updates on availability, international tuition*, and next steps as information becomes available.
*International tuition and fees vary by trade and level. As a general guide, apprenticeship technical training costs approximately $2,500 to $7,000 CAD per level. Actual costs will vary by program and are subject to change.
