This course, integrated with ENGL 1101, addresses the needs of non-native speakers of English who require specific help in order to meet course expectations. Students are given various proofreading and editing exercises, as well as paraphrasing and summarizing exercises. They will be introduced to effective techniques of quotation. Through multiple-draft writing assignments, they will learn the principles of effective revision.
