Statistical Decision Making (HOSP 3910)
This course offers a contemporary and sophisticated approach to teaching statistics in the context of making good business decisions. Students learn to recognize and understand business questions, use statistical tools to analyze and communicate the results clearly and concisely. The use of statistical software applications will form part of the course. Students will be expected to know, or to acquire on their own, basic Excel skills. The course will use real data to demonstrate real business situations in the hospitality and other sectors.
