Leadership in Organizations (HOSP 4460)
This course will examine leadership theories and discuss current leadership best practices. Students will develop their leadership skills and abilities by applying the best practice and theory to real world examples and experiences. It provides students with the tools needed to solve organizational problems and influence the actions of individuals, groups and organizations. The course prepares managers to understand how to best organize and motivate the human capital of a firm, manage social networks and alliances, and execute strategic change in the hospitality sector. Students will be actively participating in the learning process.
